Jax & Hue Urban Charcoal paint can, a sophisticated dark gray with deep urban character for bedrooms.

Urban Charcoal

Sophisticated dark gray with urban character.

$118.00

Urban Charcoal is a deep architectural gray inspired by the quiet strength of city stone and shadowed steel. The color carries a bold, modern depth that anchors a space while maintaining a refined sense of balance.

Its pigment sits between charcoal gray and soft black, creating a shade that feels dramatic without becoming heavy or flat. Subtle cool undertones give Urban Charcoal its clean, structured character, allowing the color to feel crisp and modern rather than overly warm. In bright natural light the shade reveals its deep charcoal clarity, while softer lighting allows the color to deepen toward a more shadowed, near-black tone.

This versatility makes Urban Charcoal especially compelling in interiors where contrast and architectural detail take the lead. The color pairs beautifully with warm woods, brushed brass, marble, matte black finishes, and soft neutral fabrics, creating spaces that feel layered, contemporary, and intentionally designed.

The result is a charcoal gray that feels confident and timeless, a color that brings depth and structure to a room while allowing materials and light to define the atmosphere.
